myminifactory
Expectation is a lifelike sculpture by Lemoyne Saint-Paul, also known as Paul Lemoyne (1783-1873). The marble sculpture shows a woman sitting on a rock, resting against an anchor; it's generally considered to be a marine sculpture representing women who wait for their husbands to return from sea voyages at the docks where they left.
