The Egg - 3D Printed Speaker
thingiverse
This is a speaker created in collaboration with HiFiBerry, Beocreate during the course 41030 Design of Mechatronics at The Technical University of Denmark DTU. The speaker was entirely 3D-printed on a Zortrax M200 printer using Ivory Zortrax Z-Ultrat filament. As the files clearly indicate, the speaker is made up of five parts to complete the shell, as well as two conical reflectors that spread the sound efficiently. A full assembly guide and walkthrough of the entire design process can be found by visiting the following link: https://artuinoblog.wordpress.com/2017/04/05/guidance-to-replicating-the-design/. The intentional use of rye bread in the setup is indeed a deliberate choice. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Zortrax Printer: Zortrax M200 Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.140 mm Infill: High to medium
