The Dying Gaul is a Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic period, created around 225 BC by Epigonos of Pergamon. Originally cast in bronze, it stood at the Athena temple in Pergamon, Greece. A Roman copy was made and now resides at the Museo Capitolino in Rome. The Royal Cast Collection in Copenhagen, Denmark, also holds a replica.
