The Water Filter is a compact little device designed specifically for protecting your cherished cigars or cigarettes from water damage. Creating this was also an experiment in determining just how waterproof PETG could be made, and the results exceeded my expectations. The inner frame of the filter provides excellent splash protection, while also ensuring that it remains relatively spill-proof when filled to nearly a centimeter below its rim. I printed this design using a raft, positioning the carb hole directly onto the build plate. While supports are not strictly necessary, I opted for building-plate supports to keep the structure intact during printing. To achieve optimal results, I recommend cranking up the wall thickness and making any necessary adjustments to layer settings in order to ensure a secure seal between each layer.
