The Dribble Glass

Every Mischief Maker needs a Sipper Cup! Hey folks, I made a classic Sipper Cup. See File: Sipper Cup 001.STL But, in playing with that I found that the water barely trickles out of the outlets and I had to enlarge the outlet size significantly (with fine drill bits) to get great splashing action. So, I decided to take a fresh approach on this old design and I created a Sipper Cup based on fluid pressure so it really splashes! There are no visible openings at the top of the vessel and it is harder to detect where it trickles from. This design does require three components and they must be fused together without clogging the splash channels. See Files: Sipper Cup 004.STL, Sipper Cup 004-Base.STL and Sipper Cup 004-Ring.STL Go ahead have a little fun. Of course at the expense of your adversaries!!! LOL Note on fusion. Use drinking cup from kitchen as a mold to form a sheet of aluminum foil over the opening. Remove formed aluminum foil. It is now shaped like a deep dish. Pour a small amount of Acetone in the aluminum dish. Place end of main vessel in dish, move around and get entire end saturated and softened. Apply to vessel base or vessel top ring quickly and with pressure (IE: press down against table top). This is an important step for the bottom cap because you must achieve full adhesion all around. And make sure to align the base to the vessel body so splash channels are aligned. Enjoy, Remo
