"The Drake" Gunship from The Blue Sky Chronicles

<p>So this is the airship I designed for my sci-fi novel some time ago, The Blue Sky Chronicles: Rise of the Fallen. This vehicle is purely fictional and my sketch was converted into CAD by my cover artist Predrag Markovic (<a href="https://www.markovicpredrag.com">https://www.markovicpredrag.com</a>). This vehicle features on the book's front cover (Don't worry, the shameless marketing link is further down :).</p> <p>I have modified a few of the features as well as cut up the model such that you will not need any support so long as you orient each piece correctly. A few notes:</p> <ol> <li>I HIGHLY reccomend printing all parts at 350% as listed in each file name (the sole exception being the stand at 117%...just trust me on this).</li> <li>At 350% you will be able to insert a TOOTHPICK into the cannon mount such to form the mech cannon...</li> <li>The mesh you see has been added afterwards, I found some lying around, it is meant to simulate the metal rails that the gun pods move on—just like in the book :)</li> <li>If your printer can handle .05mm layer height for the stand, I'd recommend it for the lettering details.</li> </ol> <p>You can find the work that this model is based on as below (in eBook, paperback, hardback, AND audiobook, for those of you who don't like reading).</p> <p>https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09QLVY34Y/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0</p> <p>My author site is below, I have other works that involve medieval as well as dystopian future stuff.
