The DoppleHanger
thingiverse
I convert one of our bedrooms into an office space, which enables me to utilize the closet for hanging items that regular hangers fail to support properly. Some objects are too heavy or have unique configurations, such as slings or straps (as seen in the tripod bag shown), making standard hangers ineffective. To create a sturdy base for hanging hooks on either end of a 30mm or 60mm bar, I use #4 x 1" machine screws. This setup allows for versatility and flexibility in accommodating various types of objects. On January 17, 2020, I updated the instructions to include a 90mm bar and longer hook option. By using these extended components, it becomes possible to hang filament spools securely, potentially utilizing hook-and-loop hardware to achieve this purpose.
