The Doorman - Eyelids
thingiverse
Better printable eyelids are now possible without printing them with support, but at least a cooler fan is necessary. The one in the picture was printed without support. The holes in the bar are not for motor-rods. Instead, bend the rods around the bar and if it moves sideways during motor motion, use the holes to block it. Tips: Use an Arduino Nano instead of an Arduino board; it's cheaper and smaller. An additional shield makes this much easier to wire (and reusable) for only ~ 2,- more dollars. --- This entire project is a complete mess. Nothing fits together, and there's no wiring documentation available. The 3300 µf capacitor and the battery pack are completely unclear. A lot of hot glue is required. If you really want to build this, use optimized parts.
