The Visitor Greeting System is a project designed to welcome your visitors with a personalized touch. When motion is detected, the eyes will spring to life and scan their surroundings. Visit our YouTube channel for a demonstration of this innovative technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KN21dYqdII To build this system, you'll need the following components: 1x Arduino Microcontroller 5x Servo Motors 5x 3300 µF Capacitors 1x Battery Pack (4AA) 1x PIR Motion Sensor 2x Universal Joints (3mm) For assembly, I used Pattex adhesive and acrylic paste to fill any gaps. This project may require some patience and tweaking, but the end result is well worth the effort. Note: Due to manufacturing variations, some components may not fit together perfectly, so be prepared for minor adjustments. The eye mechanism was inspired by a tutorial found on Instructables (I apologize for missing the eyelid design): http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Animatronic-Eye-Mechanism-on-the-Cheap/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email To access the code, visit our Arduino editor: https://create.arduino.cc/editor/tjahzi/74173f51-1325-41c1-aaee-e1da77bb72fc/preview Affiliate links to the materials I used are provided below: * Servo Motors: http://amzn.to/2FKmRsP * Universal Joints (3mm): http://amzn.to/2FGWBzs * Battery Pack (4AA): http://amzn.to/2E0Byr6 * PIR Motion Sensor: http://amzn.to/2FFCe5u * Arduino Microcontroller: http://amzn.to/2FFCMs4 Please note that component dimensions may vary depending on the manufacturer, so be sure to check compatibility before printing.
