The DoBu: a door opener and button pusher

The DoBu: a door opener and button pusher

thingiverse

With our current need to minimize contact with public surfaces as much as possible due to the COVID-19 response, I created this tool so that one can easily pull or push open a door handle (not a door knob) in public locations and operate buttons in an elevator or crosswalk. Designed to be printed quickly without any supports, this tool is perfect for those in a hurry. I've attached both the .STL file and original .SVG file so that you can 3D print or laser cut it. Please note that the 3D printed version includes extra bumps for comfort on the thumb and index finger locations. Future versions will be uploaded as modifications are made to the design. V3: Standard size version. V3R: Standard size with rounded edges. V5: The DoBu Mini! - Need to save space? This one is perfect! I welcome feedback from all who test this out. Thank you in advance. #NoTouchChallenge
