This handheld 3D scanner was designed for enhanced ease of use with 3D Sense, featuring a 16-inch AOC USB monitor priced at $90. Illumination is provided by two 4-inch white LED strips, sourced from automotive packages and powered by either the included battery box or a small 12V battery. To optimize placement, shorten the LED wires to 3 inches and attach the battery box and switch using double-sided duct tape. Secure the scanner with a 1/4 by 20 screw, and fasten all components in place with Velcro or 3M strips for stability. Check out this video (http://youtu.be/fp5drCZZJfw) to see it in action!
