The DeathGent Skull Mask
thingiverse
Well folks, we're well within the timeframe to print this for Halloween. This setup is altered and remixed from several things as mentioned above. Simply print the parts, paint, and assemble. The moustache and goggle (monocle) were altered to fit the mask to near perfection. The square ribbon adjusters are exactly that if you want to use ribbon of course. Give your next costume a dapper gent undead feel, get those spirits swooning, and enjoy! UPDATE - I had someone tell me they were having issues with printing the mask itself, so I went ahead and repaired the mask top and bottom sections in the hopes that the problem will be fixed for those who either experienced the same issue or want to avoid the possibility of sections turning out like a squiggly mess. The files are named Death Gent Top/Bottom Redux respectively. You'll have to rotate the object to print flat on your print-bed, but other than that, everything should be gravy. Print Settings: Printer: XYZ Da Vinci Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 10% Notes: Printed using 5mm brim with all parts. Printing all took roughly 10 hours or so. Assembly is quite simple using either glue, or my method (having printed the parts in ABS) using slurry and acetone to glue and smooth the sections together. How I Designed This: Boole functions in C4D, and hole functions in Tinkercad. Simple model manipulations in both programs were used to properly adjust the parts to fit together. The goggle section was heightened on the Z plane in order to fit the skull mask fully. If in any way I have overstepped bounds by altering these things - to the original designers: My apologies and I will be more than willing to make amends. Should I not have upset anyone and regardless either way, thank you! Shout outs to M@ (gianteye), Arthur Schmitt (tart2000), and 3DKitbash for the original skull mask design.
