The Darkside Spinning Top

May the Dark Side be with you, as this top from the Galactic Empire takes shape. 1.25 inches in diameter, crafted from PLA, and built with precision at .2mm layer height, .4mm nozzle, and 100% infill, this top demands attention. Print each color separately, then press them together, but if you want to print it with a twist, I've included an outer ring that can be printed inverted, so white becomes black and back becomes white. Simply print the outer ring in black. Depending on your printer's capabilities, you may need to sand or apply glue to get a seamless fit. Press in a 3/16 inch sphere, and it's done. I used Silicon Nitride spheres for their durability. If you have access to a Dual Extruder, you can simplify the process even further by printing it as one cohesive piece, eliminating the need for assembly altogether.
