Darkside is a daring trike contest entry for vehicle design enthusiasts competing in the DrkSd competition at https://www.drksd.info/competition. The brief was fresh and exciting, targeting drivers who refuse to blend in. As its creator, I designed the bodywork with aerodynamics and efficiency top of mind, crafting a smooth and organic form that's both striking and functional. Transparency was the guiding principle behind the design language, with the front two-thirds partially obscured while the rear remains unapologetically exposed. The result is a vehicle that embodies sportiness, lightness, and raw power. By breaking down the design into several distinct parts, I made it easier to manufacture, repair, or customize the Darkside to suit any driver's taste. The body panels are crafted from carbon fiber, precision-vacuumed onto molds for a sleek, high-performance finish that's both durable and eye-catching.
