To create a text-spun ping pong ball for DFab, I began by designing "Why so Serious?" in Inkscape using the desired font and centering it. Next, I converted the text into an outline shape with "Path > Object to Path" and "Path > Combine." Afterward, I prepared the Eggbot machine, placing the ball in the rubber holder and inserting the pen. By adjusting the height via "Extensions > Eggbot > Eggbot Control," I ensured accurate printing. Hitting the "Apply" button initiated the process, followed by quality inspection. Finally, I discovered that EPS files were not suitable for this project in Illustrator.
