This 3D model was originally designed with Sketchup 8 and subsequently converted into all other formats, native being .skp 3ds Max scene created using 3ds Max 2016, rendered with Vray 3.00 The cube is composed of 80968 polygons Textures can be found within the .skp file To extract textures from a .skp file If you have access to any of the following software, it becomes relatively simple: Follow the guidelines provided for each application Sketchup (free version available) Export an image as your chosen two-dimensional file format through File/Export/2d Graphic options Another method is available Go to File -> Export -> 3D Model and choose to export the .dae file Click on the Options button, ensuring that "Export Texture Maps" is checked The exported folder should contain all texture files C4D (trial version will suffice) Importing a .skp file into C4D automatically generates a folder with textures next to the original .skp file 3ds Max When a .skp file is imported into 3ds Max, it stores the texture files within the ..\3dsMax\scene\assets\images directory You can also export an fbx file with "Embed Media" selected, which will automatically create a folder containing all textures with the fbx file Rhinoceros 3D (trial version available) Import the .skp file into Rhinoceros 3D Open the material editor (Panels->Material Editor), select any material with a texture applied Click on the texture name in the Textures section and then click on the three-dot button This will allow you to view all textures within the ..\AppData\Local\Temp\embedded_files directory You can then copy and paste these textures into any desired folder
