The Crazy Maze
thingiverse
Hi all, This is a fun maze game to play with a ball up to 5mm. It's also a test for any small bugs that might be hiding in the center hole. The star at the end makes it even harder to win. So follow these instructions carefully! Here are the full size dimensions: diameter 280 X 10mm High. You'll need to get your bed calibration perfect. First, place your STL file on SD3 slicer and set the Z value to -0.2. Step 1: Use a clear, glass-like filament for the first two layers. Start at 0 high and stop at 0.4. Leave the bed warm! Step 2: Switch to white filament (or any other color you like). Choose single external walls with no infill. Use concentric patterns on top. Start at 0.4 and stop at 9.4. Clean up any retraction strings waste from the maze before moving on. Step 3: Use a dark-colored filament for this step. Print two bottom layers and two top layers using lines patterns. Start at 9.4 and stop at 9.8. If you need more height, use step 4! Instructions are tricky, but the end result is worth it! Kids will love playing with this maze, and it'll keep them away from their smartphones. Keep your bed warm throughout the process to prevent warping.
