We all love a perfectly crafted, 3D printed masterpiece. Yet, most often, the path to achieving this ultimate result is littered with discarded prints... Life is a journey, not just a destination, so we decided to celebrate these behind-the-scenes epic failures: - Maybe you're that lucky printer who experiences an amazing layer shift halfway through your Benchy print. - Or perhaps you inadvertently created a flying spaghetti monster while printing a vase for your mother. - And then there's the 47-hour print that ended in a nozzle jam just as it was finishing up, with only 5% left to go... We wanted to focus on these imperfect, half-finished citizen parts to help others improve their 3D printing experience. 3DPPGH announced the "Crappy Print Award" at MRRF 2018, but our budget was too low for corporate sponsorships. Still, we managed to scrounge up some fantastic prizes – literally digging through our trash bins to find this year's winners. Let's be real, it's all about bragging rights and the trophy you'll proudly display in your hometown (which is now available for anyone else to download, print, and claim victory)!
