The Corvus Iridescence
thingiverse
This project is a spin-off of my own interests, aiming to recreate the style of cars from the game GRIP in a unique way. Unfortunately, I overlooked a crucial aspect that makes GRIP stand out: Rollcage. The Rollcage feature allows cars to flip over onto their roofs and continue driving due to the symmetrical design of both the roof and the bottom, as well as the elevated height of the wheels compared to the chassis. My initial design lacked this feature, which would result in a less-than-thrilling outcome if it were to tumble onto its side and become immobilized like a turtle on its back. However, I'm working on a revised design that incorporates Rollcage and still looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself. To print the new version, use supports for the wheels and drill out holes where the axles will hold them in place. Most medium-sized printers should be able to handle printing the main chassis and wheels without any issues. Note: This project is a hobbyist creation and not affiliated with GRIP, Caged Element Inc, or any other entity involved with the game.
