The College Dorm Organizer Set
prusaprinters

College dorms are not always the biggest with a lot of space; with this organizer set you can organize your things without taking up precious desk space, even if you are not in a dorm it will be a nice way to clean up your space. Included are organizers for pencils/pens, whiteboards, dry erase markers, calculators, scissors, and sunglasses. There is also two Desk Organizers should you want to use it on your desk as well and an organizer for travel toothbrush and toothpaste, for those who's bags would lose it otherwise.

Print instructions

All of the prints should fit within the standard volume of a 3D printer. All prints were printed at .25mm layer height with 3 walls, 4 top and bottom layers and 12% infill, and no models were printed with support except for the toothbrush inner shell. The wall mounting organizers have holes for nails as well as space for double sided tape depending on your preference. Everything was made in inches, so if your slicer doesn’t not have a function to translate it to millimeters, scaling the object 2540% will correct the dimensions.

Special notes per model (In order of picture)

The Pencil/Pen Organizer
This will also work as a mini desktop organizer should you not want to hang it up.

The Utilities Organizer
This is not a item specific mount, anything you can fit or use this for, go right ahead. Print on the largest flat face, I did not use supports, instead relying on bridging, but that is up to your discretion.

The Calculator Organizer
This should fit a standard size scientific calculator and a TI-89 calculator (or anything in those size ranges).

The Scissors Organizer
Similar to the Utilities Organizer, this one is not entirely item specific, anything that fits in the slots can be used. Also similar to the Utilities Organizer, print on the largest flat face and I did not use supports, instead relying on bridging, but that is up to your discretion.

The Whiteboard Marker Organizer
This organizer fits a standard 4-marker pack of Expo markers, with the eraser and cleaning spray fitting in the back.

The Whiteboard Wall Mount
Print upright (similar to the orientation in the picture) with the bottom face on the bed and the holes for mount going up along the side. Its a 45 degree angle so most printers should be able to print without supports, but that is up to your discretion.

Toothbrush Case (Inner and Outer Shell)
This is to keep together a travel toothpaste and toothbrush for those that like to keep their teeth clean and have a hard time keeping track of both in their bags. The outer shell is slightly different in the stl than the picture, that is simple because I removed the excess length on the sides. Print the outer shell standing upright (closed end down and open end up) and put supports.

The Desk Organizers
This is for those that don't want to mount anything but still need to organize their desks. The actual Desk Organizer fits 2 larger calculators (similar to the calculator mount) and your pencils/pens and random items. The Headboard Organizer can be used to shelve random items kept on your desk or headboard. The Headboard should be printed upright (With the open ends from the shelves being the top and bottom).
