The coffee mouse
cults3d
This is a multi part model of a mouse holding a drinking cup. No paint is needed or was used for the models in the photos. The eyes of the mouse are articulated. There are 4 cups with different inlays ( coffee, chocolate, milk, reindeer ) and 3 variations of the liquid they contain ( normal, with cream, with foam ). I use for my designs the software Z-Brush and the model is made from scratch. The model is split up in different parts so it's possible to print them with different filament colors. Most parts of the model need to be glued together. The face and head of the mouse are assembled with a snapping clip. In my experience this holds pretty firm together without glue. So don't forget to insert the assembled eyes and the eyeholder inside the face part BEFORE you clip it in the head part. As a tip for printing the clip is that you shouldn't use a brittle filament for it since it needs to be a bit resilient.
