The Clarm - Fully Modular Helping Hand

thingiverse

My objective with this project was to create a set of assisting hands while soldering that can be fully 3D-printed and modular. The outcome became "The Clarm". Clarm doesn't require any components that cannot be 3D-printed, no supports, just press print and you're done. You might want to print all the parts in two sessions though. Some parts have quite a small area touching the build plate, this can become a problem for some printers. In that case you might want to add a raft to those parts. Clarm is made up of a couple of joints and spacers, apart from the base and the claw. Just add as many joints and spacers you want for your Clarm. If you're not sure how to configure your Clarm you can pick the stl-files labeled "clarm_base_configuration_print1" and "clarm_base_configuration_print2". | 4X | inner_thread_to_inner_ball | 4X | outer_ball_to_inner_ball | 4X | ball_tightener | 1X | Everything else I plan to add additional claws and useful stuff that can be attached. This is a work in progress and I would greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions. And if you print this, please do a make of it and let me know how it turned out =)
