Carved around 1755 and installed in 1795 in the north alley of the Bassin d'Apollon within Versailles gardens, this marble statue titled La Clarté (The Clarity) was created by Italian artist Lazzaro Baldi, born in Pistoia, Tuscany in 1624 and passing away in Rome in 1703. The statue underwent restoration in 2008. This object is part of "Scan The World".
