The Citadel

The Citadel

I modeled this tower after The Citadel artwork for Game of Thrones. The base is a unique creation, not inspired by any existing design. The tower features an intentional hole in its center and windows that can be opened to accommodate an LED light source, creating a visually appealing effect when lit up. Alternatively, a single LED at the top can simulate the bonfire, although I haven't tested this method yet. I printed the tower with a 0.15mm layer height for optimal quality and the base with a slightly thicker 0.2mm setting. For best results, the tower should be printed slowly to prevent any defects or imperfections. The model is divided into two separate files due to its impressive height. If your printer is calibrated correctly, the pieces will fit together seamlessly; however, if you suspect calibration issues, I recommend scaling down the design slightly for a smoother assembly process. In terms of printing settings, the tower requires no supports, but the base benefits from sparse supports underneath it, which worked well in my experience with this model.
