The Chernobyl (And Crew!)

The Chernobyl (And Crew!)

A few years ago, I ran a space western themed game with a group of friends using the Savage Worlds system. We met regularly, and it was an absolute blast while it lasted. Recently, I started thinking about those days again, and figured it was high time to recreate the crew (and a small-sized version of the ship) in meeple form. The starship itself is a box for meeples that doubles as a terrain piece. The actual Chernobyl is much larger, but as most of us are limited by the size of our print beds, I made it smaller. It will print up to 150% on an Ender 3, but if you have a bigger machine, you might be able to make a seriously spacious box out of this one. The crew of the Chernobyl is included with the files here too: Captain Phelan (Gold) - Aims to cause chaos. Raze Dehesh (Red) - Lovable rogue and fast-talker who always talks his way out of trouble. Amburr (White) - Every ship needs a saw-bones, and Amburr fits the bill perfectly. Longus (Green) - The 7-foot lizardfolk mechanic with a love for vintage electronics is the perfect addition to any crew. Tessa (Black) - Butch pilot who takes pain-pills by the fist-fulls, because she can't get enough of the thrill. Drax (Brown) - As deadly as his native Australia, Drax will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He comes with a cannon and is ready for battle. Florian (Blue) - Operative for the resistance and newest addition to the crew, Florian brings a fresh perspective to the table. I printed these on rafts, with supports on the top half of the box, because it's hollow underneath. You can probably print them without a raft if you've got your settings dialed in precisely, as they're big and designed to print flat. These miniatures are sized for Meepleverse and for the latest version of Pocket Tactics. The crew members are sized at 4mm thickness (old version of Meepleverse) so when you print, if you're using the new standard, you'll want to increase the mm height by one on the Z-axis in your slicing program to make everything the same. I've recently started making special hero meeples available for sale. Need a hero, a villain or just an NPC that you can mass-print in any color you choose? Looking for something simple and minimalistic to give your Roleplaying Game (or board game) some sleek and streamlined style? Meeples on my site "Punkin' Figs" are a simple, inexpensive alternative to high detail miniatures, and need no paint in order to look great! Find more over at www.punkinfigs.com.
