Hello all! I have been printing various weapons for my nerd cave for a while now and though this might not be the most popular item in that list, when I searched for the chance lance on Thingiverse I felt like the McElroy brothers and Dad were sorely under-represented. So if you don't know, I will explain the chance lance. From the Adventure Zone Wiki: "The Chance Lance is the minute hand of the Refuge clock tower. It offers +1 to attack and damage rolls, and if dropped or thrown can be recalled back to the user. It is also able to pop time bubbles. It is a woven, light metal you think might be Mithril and ends in a razor-sharp point. It has a long straight base you can get a nice grip on and to recall the lance Magnus says 'To me, Spear Friend'" This weapon first appeared in the Eleventh Hour arc of the first The Adventure Zone season which has a graphic novel adaptation releasing tomorrow as of this writing. You should check it out and get the graphic novels. I just bought my copy of this one and I have all of the previous ones. The Adventure Zone is an actual play podcast that encompasses multiple TTRPGs and is honestly the best life minutes you could possibly spend on a podcast. Pictured is a minute hand of a giant clock with a wide section that works as a handle. For my handle, I wrapped it in cloth strips, painted it with epoxy resin, and then painted it. This allowed me to get an interesting texture as well as the color balance I was wanting. You don't have to do this of course. I'm just extra. The model requires only a few purchased additions that are reasonably cheap. It assembles with 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch dowels. I used wood dowels because they are pretty cheap. Also included is a wall mount for the Chance Lance featuring the Bureau of Balance Logo Because I'm real horny for 3D-printed wall mounts.
