My corporate office donated a 12 shelf display case made of 24 feet of extruded aluminum, which has been disassembled to reveal 40mm x 40mm pieces sufficient for creating five Printrbot-style 3D printers. So far, I have invested 15 hours in the design and anticipate spending an additional 30 hours before completing this ongoing project that will result in a fully functional 3D printer.
