Check out all my tips at https://makersteve.com. To create a Stencil for your shell, check this out: https://makersteve.com/2019/04/16/up-your-3d-printing-game-with-stencils-and-a-vinyl-cutter-go-cricut-go/. Want me to make you one? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F192631777807&campid=5338222017&toolid=20008. To see a walk through on how to finish the shell, see https://makerstevecom.wordpress.com/2018/03/26/finishing-your-3d-printed-105mm-artillery-shell-piggy-bank/. UPDATE: I did not provide enough "meat" on the base for threads so they would not print to completion. The original will mate but not have all the threads. I updated the drawings and have provided high resolution STLs. After a few prints, I decided a screw body would work well for the 105MM round, so here it is. You know you wanted one; just say it. Modeled after https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2659795 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2664215. Fuzes and stencil are interchangeable, so this can be a piggy bank or a place to stash your gold. If you're new to 3D printing or have a CR-10 and want to pep it up, check my about page in my profile; there's lots of good info there. I work for tips, but you all don't tip so consider using these affiliate links for the Filament: 1.75mm Olive Drab PLA, Paramount 3D PLA (PANTONE Military Green 7764C) 1.75mm 1kg Filament [OGRL60037764C] at http://amzn.to/2E5FveP.
