This highly detailed 3D ship model originated from meticulous sketches created using Sketchup 13, before being seamlessly converted into all other major 3D formats. Its native file type is the versatile .skp format, which perfectly suits the intricate geometry of this magnificent vessel. Within the accompanying 3ds Max 2016 scene, I employed Vray 3.00 to deliver a photorealistic finish. Inspired by a variety of 2d drawings found within the warehouse, every intricate detail of this majestic ship was meticulously crafted by me, with the notable exceptions being the smoke stack and propellers. Successfully navigating the daunting task of creating an aesthetically pleasing hull proved to be an arduous but rewarding experience.
