My family and I thoroughly enjoyed watching "The Button" on BBC One this spring, and we were eager to bring the excitement of the game into our home. So, I set out to create a working model of the button from the show, determined to succeed. It's comprised of 3D printed parts, a beautifully crafted laser-cut plywood case, a vacuum formed light up button dome that adds a touch of elegance, and a raspberry pi at its core, providing the intelligent functionality we need. This version of the design is significantly smaller and more cost-effective than the original, leveraging our TV to display the challenges rather than relying on an in-built screen.
