My family and I were thoroughly entertained by "The Button" on BBC One this spring and we yearned for a way to play along at home so I resolved to create a functioning model of the button from the show. It consists of a combination of 3D printed components, a laser-cut plywood housing, a vacuum-formed light-up button dome and a Raspberry Pi and screen to provide the intelligence behind it.
