Paul was born in 1967, and from an early age, his artistic talents were evident. He studied graphics near his home in Essex, where he developed a passion for visual creativity. After completing his studies, Paul pursued a degree in painting at Birmingham University, where he honed his skills as a painter. His unique sense of humor and satirical style quickly set him apart from his peers. As he continued to paint, Paul found himself experimenting with low-relief sculptural elements that added depth and texture to his works. These early sculptures eventually evolved into three-dimensional pieces that burst forth from their two-dimensional constraints. It was during this period that Paul discovered a new medium: metal. He set up a studio in the old Birds Custard Factory in Birmingham, where he had access to steel sheets and welding equipment. With his newfound passion for metalwork, Paul began to create intricate steel sculptures that reflected his satirical sense of humor. His art soon gained recognition, leading to numerous exhibitions, public commissions, and private projects. Today, Paul's studio is situated in the picturesque coastal countryside of Suffolk, where he continues to push the boundaries of metal sculpture and bring his unique vision to life.
