The Bucket Lift - Standard Marble Scale
prusaprinters

I was curious to see how big this would have to get to work with normal sized toy marbles. Turns out it had to get quite a bit bigger! All parts have been split to fit on a MK3 print bed.

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/seesg3ldZ-U"></oembed>

Print Settings:

All files were printed as thick and fast as I reliably could with the standard 0.4 nozzle on a Prusa MK3S. I used Prusament PETG with a layer height of 0.25mm and a print speed of 60-90mm/s. The only exception to this is Tripple Twister Top Part 2. This needs to be nice and smooth for the marbles to spin properly and I wouldn't use a layer height over 0.1mm even at this scale.

BOM:

You will need a 3d printer, obviously. The files have been split to fit on a Prusa MK3 bed but anything similar or larger will work.

Filament. Lots of filament. About 1.5kg of each colour. I used PETG but PLA will be fine.

12v 15rpm motor - https://amzn.to/3CywUxV

19mm latching button switch - https://amzn.to/3x5RhBK

You will also need a 12v PSU and matching connector along with appropriate wire to connect it all.

Time. This will take quite a while to print and assemble. Enjoy the process.
