The Brain from 'Pinky & the Brain'

This is a 3D model of Pinky & the Brain's iconic leader, downloaded from Google Sketchup's 3D Warehouse and tweaked to bring out its sharp features, particularly around the eyes, nose, and chin. After importing the model into my design software, I encountered issues with automatic support generation using slic3r. The resulting gcode was riddled with errors, threatening to compromise the integrity of the model's facial structure, ears, and arms. To mitigate this risk, I designed custom support structures in OpenSCAD, ensuring a successful print job. Initial attempts at printing the cheeks proved challenging due to their fragile nature, but by manually assisting my reprap printer during the first few layers, I managed to produce an impressive replica of the Brain's face. This model was printed using white PLA with a 0.15mm layer thickness and a 0.25mm nozzle. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable model for Pinky, so the Brain will have to conquer the world on its own.
