The Bloom Box Desk Organizer

The Bloom Box Desk Organizer

This is my entry for the Fusion 360 Challenge under the hashtag #OrganizedFusion. My design, dubbed the "Bloom Box," boasts a unique feature: by shifting the tab along the front edge of the top, all drawers spring open simultaneously in a delightful "blooming" motion. This desk organizer can accommodate an assortment of small office supplies, including pens, pencils, markers, sticky notes, paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, and more. Additionally, it features a cradle for your smartphone as well as provision for the charger cable to be routed through from beneath. The Bloom Box is designed with modularity in mind. Users can customize their setup by printing only specific components, such as the base, lower drawers, pushrods, crank, spacer, and pin caps. For instance, if you want a three-tiered design, you can add more upper drawers, pushrods, spacers, pin caps, center posts, and middle cranks. Other optional features included in this design are drawer inserts that fit snugly into either the upper or lower drawers. These inserts can be used to organize spare 3D printer nozzles as well as SD/micro SD cards.
