The "Big Scoop" Bucket Design This innovative bucket design takes the shape of a spiral cylinder with one large, efficient scoop. Measuring 359mm in length, its diameter spans an impressive 443 mm. When rotated, the spiral scoop expertly catches regolith, making it a valuable tool for space exploration. Meet Caden Rowse, a talented 12-year-old sixth-grader from Mack Elementary School in Woodinville, Washington. He's a proud member of the FIRST Lego Washington robotic team and aspires to work at NASA's prestigious Kennedy Space Center one day. This project marks his first attempt at using CAD software and proposing an original idea. We're grateful for this opportunity to showcase Caden's remarkable talent.
