They were an iconic band who had an enormous impact on pop-culture over the last six decades. It's hard to think of many bands which have had a similar shaping hand on popular culture as The Beatles did. I was never a massive fan of their music, but I acknowledge with deep respect their special place in music history and the huge contribution they made to rock/pop genre. From the young, clean-cut lads who brought the world 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' and 'Love Me Do', to the psychedelic trailblazers of 'Sergeant Pepper' fame, we thank the Gods of Rock for giving us John, Paul, George and Ringo. This coaster pays tribute to The Beatles in their later stages and to the beloved animated movie 'Yellow Submarine'. We can still point at the Yellow Submarine image and say "The Beatles" like everyone else. It may be sacrilegious to park a coffee cup on the timeless symbol of the Swinging Sixties, but it's either that or cup rings....\n\nThis coaster features holes in the back which allow for retrofitting with 3mm x 5mm neodymium magnets (available separately in my store). It can be used as a magnetic sign or plaque or mounted permanently. This coaster doesn't have to be limited just as a coaster.
