The four artefacts are adorned with bucrania, festoons and rosettes, set within a decorative border. Votive inscriptions indicate that these pieces formed part of a monument honouring Aphrodite. The artefact was unearthed in the sacred precinct of the fortress. Dating back to the early half of the 3rd century B.C. MATERIAL AND SIZE: Made from marble; measuring 1.25 m in length and 0.93 m in width. LOCATION: Situated within the Histria Fortress Museum in Istria, Romania
