The Balrog from Lord of the Rings. This is an unframed and reduced size version. Thingiverse does not allow the full 450MB binary STL upload. The full sized, full resolution lithophane (framed and unframed) is available on my site for those who want it: https://www.gadunky.com/product/lotr-the-balrog/ Tools used: Photoshop CC 2018, PhotoToMesh V7, Meshmixer, S3D, and Cura 3.5.1 for the final slice. If you want the "Blaze" hot look, print in an off-white material and backlight it with a warm white LED and cool white LED for extra contrast. Please note, it's easiest to slice this in Cura or Slic3r and some other slicers. There are a couple of extra steps in S3D because of the way I designed this STL and frame. A bonus of this is there are some extra editing options available if you know what you're doing in S3D (connected meshes, cropping, etc.). Check out more on my site: https://www.gadunky.com
