The Bagel - Pusher 3in frame for Pixhawk mini/ falcon etc
thingiverse
My dad, who's actually an engineer, once said, "A bagel will fly if you give it enough thrust". That's what I'll call it. Working to make a "cinewhoop" using parts I had sitting around. I scaled up the sourced antivibration mount to fit the ducts and give space for a Pixfalcon. Tweaking the design in Meshmixer to get good support and places for stuff. I haven't built it yet, so do so at your own peril! And by the way, I'm most certainly not an engineer! I plan to load it up with a Hero 7 Black, GPS, data-link etc. Not sure why, but should be interesting. Using RaceStar BR1306 3500KV because it's what I have. The 3" props may need a little shaving. I have no idea if it will actually fly, but if TomTom001's math is right, it just might. Printed in Simplify3D, supposedly should weigh just under 80g with 10% infill Not sure this will give me anything more than a DJI Spark, but it's fun. I think V4 is likely the best because the supports don't block the airflow.....maybe. UPDATE: The GoPro mount and GPS stand are weak. Don't use that one unless you tweak it. Printing vertically would work better, but use a lot of support.
