I have to say this, just in case: THIS IS NOT A REAL GUN. Titanfall 2 is finally coming out soon - almost - and I pre-ordered the "super mega deluxe give me all your money epic win" edition that comes with a 1:1 scale pilot's helmet. Figuring that many people will use this helmet for cosplay, every pilot needs a weapon, right? So, I designed the B3 - Wrongman, which is heavily inspired by the B3 - Wingman from the game. I've always wanted to print a prop gun but my printer (M3D Micro) has a small print bed, so I made this guy in segments, some of which plug into each other to make it easy to line them up. Everything else just needs superglue. The segments also make it much easier to paint...I imagine? I have no idea; I'm terrible at painting. This is the first version, and if any of you have constructive feedback, I'm happy to update the model over time. It's not a perfect replica but it will certainly do the job. Print Settings Printer: M3D Micro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: Dealer's Choice Infill: None Notes: I printed all the parts hollow with thick walls enabled in the M3D software. It's pretty light when assembled. I used rafts on everything except the trigger, but that's just because I forgot. The M3D software automatically adds supports to models it can't print without them, so for your information, the parts that will need supports are as follows: Barrel 2 Hammer Housing Flashlight Post-Printing Assembly: 1. Print all the parts. Sand off scrap material (I have some tiny files; they work great). Superglue everything together. Bask in the glow of your new B3 - Wrongman. How I Designed This What did I go and do? There really wasn't much resource material to go by. I found a side-on image on Google and basically just used that as a reference. I improvised all the three-dimensional parts and ran test prints until everything looked right.
