The "Atrain" balisong trainer
thingiverse
This balisong trainer is engineered for effortless flipping, boasting 138mm long channel style handles featuring a distinctive "trident" design. Atrain utilizes advanced zen pin construction, delivering a light yet neutral and natural flipping experience despite its minimal weight. The blade also showcases the iconic "trident" design. The concept of "trident" design originated on Reddit courtesy of user u/erkush_, who later had it 3D modeled by me. I chose the name Atrain because in Finnish, it translates to trident. To avoid confusion with Squid Industries' Trident balisong model, I opted for a new name. To print this trainer, you'll need one blade and two handles that mirror each other. The inventor has provided .STL models at 10% scale; simply upscale them by ten times to achieve the optimal design. For the best printing results, consult picture 2e. Assembling Atrain requires the following components: * Four M3 nuts * Four M3X12 countersink screws * Four M3 washers with a thickness of 0.5mm When assembling, apply locktite and lubricate the pivots. Avoid over-tightening the zen pins, as this may restrict the balisong's smooth swinging motion.
