About the design =============== The Asterix is a compacted edition of my 5-Inch ARS-5 design, tailored for 20x20 stacks, 13-15xx motors and 19mm micro cams. Please note: The V1.1 requires naked bottom motors. More details on the frame can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocUgJ2YOd74&t=2s. - **Weight:** 59 grams including screws and standoffs - **Build weight:** 178 grams dry and 288 grams AUW with a 4S 850mah R-Line battery My Recommended Setup (Updated) ================== - **Motors:** RCing Power 1506 or the new iFlight Xing 1408 - **FC + ESC:** Mamba F405 Mini - **CMOS Camera with big sensor:** Caddx Ratel or the RunCam Phoenix - **VTX:** Cheap TBS Unify Nano clone from HGLRC, or get the Original TBS if you're not on a tight budget - **RX:** FrSky XM (only if you use FrSky of course) - **Props:** Gemfan 3052 - **Standoffs:** 20mm anodized (You will need to cut the cam mounts if you take those tapered ones) - **Misc:** XT-60 connector and M2x8 screws to mount the motors Change Log ========== - **25.02.2019** Created - **17.06.2019** Version 1.1 with new motor mounts to fit 15xx stator size motors.
