The Arms of the Finnish Region of North Karelia
myminifactory
The coat of arms of Karelia in Finland was first adopted in 1562. The blazon for these arms translates as follows: A golden crown rests above two duelling arms, the left arm is gauntleted and holds a sword while the right arm is mailed and grasps a scimitar, all silver except for golden hafts and a gauntlet joint on the left hand. The ducal coronet completes this regal emblem.
