I'm designing an amphibious alien species with lizard-like elements and subtle aquatic capabilities. Their robe-like clothing is loose-fitting, made of a wet-resistant plastic or metal material that can withstand moisture. A tripod contraption helps them move efficiently on land. The most captivating aspect was developing the skin's materials, blending human skin with layered subsurface layers to create a glossy, waxy appearance that conveys waterproofing.
