The adjustable prosthetic hand project
thingiverse
I notice many impressive designs for prosthetic hands available, but to customize them for varying sizes, one must possess advanced skills in CAD programming. To address this challenge, I am launching a project open to contributors - my goal is to create a design that meets the following criteria: 1. The design should be straightforward to print without requiring intricate settings. 2. It should consist of components that can be easily assembled for different sizes using standard spacers and glue. 3. The design should eventually be adaptable to electronics integration. 4. It should be modular enough to accommodate replacement of partial fingers, full fingers, or the entire hand. I am utilizing Sketchup for my CAD work and will be printing on a Prusa I3.
