<p>Updated Version: 1.2</p><ul><li>Trimmed it down, and made the screw points thicker and slotted</li><li>Added some additional supports to optimise printing</li><li>Modified air flow</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Updated Version: 1.1</p><ul><li>I have included an integrated support to assist in printing and increase the body thickness and adjusted airflow to direct more air towards the tip of the nozzle.</li><li>I will keep this part updated with flow improvements as I test further, so check back weekly to see what's new.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This mod does not improve performance of the cooling system, as the original one done by humebean will give you max airflow, I created this to me more clearance and visibility of the nozzle, at the loss of some performance.</p><p>This cooling duct will also help if you have had issues with your build plate warping and catching on the stock duct causing layer shifting, or if you have treid to use clips to hold the build plate down and found the stock Icarus duct will push them off due to its close tolerances with the build plate.</p><p>Print this standing upright, and due to how flat this duct is, you will need to use raft, highly recommend printing in a heat resistant plastic with carbon fibre like the Prusa PC-CF.</p><p>Note: this only suits the dual 5015 Icarus carriage.</p><p>My website: <a href="https://nexgen-printing.com.au">nexgen-printing.com.au</a></p>
