The 5th Filament

Around the world in 80 prints. ======================= We'll send our traveller, the fifth filament, to people who use 3D printing around the world, asking each person in neighbouring countries to print it, pose for a picture with the filament in front of a famous landmark and then return those pictures along with a short text about where they're located so we can add them to this website at http://www.aroundtheworldin80prints.org. We invite you to Join us by printing the fifth filament and sending us pictures. Upload photos or add personal QR-Code, web address or any message of your choice and leave it somewhere where someone will find it later on. This unique id is also assigned to it for tracking with this id when people find the print and leave a message, photo or other items on its journal. This free project's aim is simply spreading 3D printing technology ideas around all countries in this world. Instructions First, decide what materials, colors and size of print you prefer. It’s an easy print - just put two things together, the fifth filament and a stand. You can even leave out some files which we made optional to print this item in more colors, using only one tool for printing at any time or different colored filaments altogether to create multiple layers that you want. For single tool prints you should simply stop your machine, switch the material colours for creating an 8 bit heart and then resume with a different layer or else it is quite alright if it gets messy because who knows maybe that makes it better. Alternatively if dual print options are at hand there’s separate files provided to create these layers without having much effort on assembling which could look pretty neat as long it's done properly though;
