THE 3D PRINTED MARBLE MACHINE

This is a cutting-edge 3D printed marble contraption on our latest Indie desktop 3D printer that propels marbles through intricate loops and turns. A marble machine designed in ONSHAPE relies heavily on rigid bodies, joints, and precision mechanics. The assembly comprises approximately 34 parts printed in ABS plastic, which can be powered using DC motors or batteries. It utilizes a 1.5 cm diameter steel ball bearing that begins at the bottom, ascends to the top, and then returns to the starting point, making this trip approximately 8640 times within a 24-hour period.
