The 100th Upload - Tantalus Cup
thingiverse
Thingiverse tells me this is my 100th design, no way, more like the 126th, but to celebrate the home page of BathRobotics now saying "100 DESIGNS" I thought I'd do a pre-tested Print of a Trophy. Not just any trophy though, if you fill this cup with water it will completely empty itself. I've designed in a self-supporting pathway for the water from the center of the cup to just below the brim and then down again to the base. Once the water reaches the top of the channel, it forms a syphon and empties the cup. NEW VERSION IS V3 - COMPLETE WITH "BLANK" AS PER REQUEST This one works, the smaller one also included didn't do too well but that might be my printer I've just re-demo'd it and the Syphon had water still in it so kicked off as soon as water went in Give a Shake before using a second time. So 100, in Bath (Aqua Sulis) I might be a Roman Centurion except I'm from Liverpool originally. 100 Design uploads that's dizzy heights right there with Schrohr Zheng3 AdaFruit WilliamAAdams Mark Durbin Tony Buser and Greg Zumwalt all of whom have managed at least 100 uploads too IN TIME FOR GOOD FRIDAY This makes a brilliant Egg Cup for large eggs Chocolate Eggs Easter Eggs or scale it for Hens Eggs just don't drop it Respect peeps EUR ING Andy Southern aka Bath Robotics Centurions: http://www.thingiverse.com/WilliamAAdams/about http://www.thingiverse.com/tbuser/about http://www.thingiverse.com/MakeALot/about http://www.thingiverse.com/gzumwalt/about http://www.thingiverse.com/zheng3/about http://www.thingiverse.com/adafruit/about http://www.thingiverse.com/Schorhr/about
